Foam Sign Panel FAQ's

1. Does Peachtree City Foamcraft sell the sign or the material?

The Sign. Peachtree City Foamcraft is a 100% wholesale manufacturer of quality Foamcore signage structures. Our line of foamcore sign panels are manufactured using the same technique as our monument signs.

Our Foamcore sign panels are custom cut from a solid block of expanded polystyrene, and then encapsulated in our exclusive, hybrid Poly-Armor™ hard coat.The finishing touch, our custom signage panels are sprayed with a 100% acrylic, light stucco textured finish. We also have the capabilities to hand paint exquisite details and create custom painted backgrounds as we did for the sign on the right.Due to our manufacturing process, we do not sell any material – but rather, a quality finished product ready for installation.

2. What is the installation Method for Foamcore Sign Panels?

Depending on the size of the Foamcore sign panels, there are a couple methods for installation: patterns and studs, silicone based glue or a bracket system for installation between two columns or posts.

3. Are Foamcore Sign Panels Made?

4. Can 23k Gold Leaf be applied to Foamcore Sign Panels?

Yes and No.  The application process for 23K Gold leaf requires a smooth surface, our Foamcore sign panels do have a light stucco texture which is not a good candidate for 23k Gold Leaf. Depending on the size of the sign panel, you can apply your 23k Gold leaf to individual letters or custom dimensional pieces made of HDU and then apply them to your Foamcore sign panel with silicone based glue.

5. Can a carved sign look be achieved with Foamcore Panels?

No, our Foamcore sign panels closely resemble a sandblasted sign. Due to the light stucco texture used during our finishing process, Foamcore sign panels will not have the sharp v-grooved copy or the smooth, glass-like texture of traditional carved signs. We recommend our Foamcore sign panels as an alternative to traditional sandblasted and carved sign panels, not a replacement.
